Tip #1 : Use Your Own Earwax!

One way to get rid of cold sores is with ear wax!  Ya I said it.  Take out a Q-Tip and use it to clean out your ears, this works best right after a shower.  Once you’ve done that, apply it directly to your cold sore, some people swear by this treatment, it’s like an old family remedy that’s been passed on from more, unsophisticated times, but that’s not to say it won’t work for you.

Tip #2: Use Your Own Urine.

Ok, now I’m sure you’re probably thinking this is all a big joke, but I assure you it’s not!  Urine has been used for centuries for homeopathic and curative purposes.  What you want to do is go to the washroom and collect some into a bottle, then dab a Q-Tip inside and apply it to the cold sore.  I know, it’s disgusting having urine that close to your mouth, but urine is sterile and harmless.  The thing which makes this work is the Urea in the urine.  Urea can actually be found in some cold sore creams you find in the stores.
