Want some remedies for fever blisters?  Those annoying little lesions that always seem to pop up after you pick up a cold are aptly named, but did you know that they are essentially the same thing as cold sores?  Yup, shocking, but they are the same thing, they are both caused by the herpes simplex 1 virus, fever blisters is just a nicer way of saying it.  So now that we got that understanding, what can we do to help get rid of the cold sores?  Plenty, here, try these solutions out:

1.     The Cookie Solution

Out of all the remedies for fever blisters, this is the only one that when done winds up smelling like a cookie.  What you’re going to do is boil some water and then add some garlic, olive oil, salt, apple cider vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice and some sugar.  The sugar is what gives it all the cookie smell.  Once this solution has been mixed up good, add some witch hazel to the mix as well.  Next, take a Q-Tip, dip it in and apply it directly to the fever blister.  By the way, this is not meant to be eaten :)

2.     Supplement With Calcium

Another solution  for fever blisters is to take in some additional calcium.  Just pick up some calcium supplmenets and take 500-1000mg of it daily.

3.     Ice The Area

Another very simple remedy is to use ice to arrest the swelling and spread of the virus.  Keep the ice on the lip long enough for it to go numb.  You can also try filling up a ziplock bag and putting that on.

Now these remedies for fever blisters will help, however they will not be enough to manage the sores quickly and keep them from returning.  For a more effective treatment, you’ll need to look at something like Herpeset.  That product works fast because it is absorbed directly into the bloodstream when sprayed under the tongue.  You can click here to learn more about how it works.

Want to find out how to get rid of cold sores fast?  Cold sores are not something you want to see stick around on your lip for a week or two, they are so embarrassing that each day you have one is just utter pain.  There are a lot of solutions out there to try, unfortunately not many do the job well.  I’ve got a killer solution right here though that is worth a shot and may just be what you were looking for:

Baking Soda + Lemons

One way how to get rid of cold sores fast is with a little baking soda and lemons.  What you’re going to do is:

  • Wash your hands
  • Cut a lemon in half and squish it so that some lemon juice comes to the top
  • Put some baking soda on the top of the lemon juice so it starts to bubble a bit
  • Place that bubbly lemon directly onto the cold sore

Now when you do this, it is going to burn, but grit it out as it is really going to do a number on the cold sore virus.  Leave it on for a good 10-15 seconds before taking it off and the next day it should be on it’s way to healing up.  If doing it once a day is not enough you can up it to twice a day, alternatively, you can just try holding the lemon onto your mouth for a longer period of time.

So if you wanted to know how to get rid of cold sores fast, there’s one of the faster home remedies available to you.  If however you want to take it a step further and cure it faster because you need to be at some social engagement, there are better options.  One is Herpeset, it’s absorbed directly into the bloodstream with a spray under the tongue so it starts working immediately.  It also prevents further outbreaks which is a plus.  To learn if it’s right for you, click here for more info.

So what’s the difference between female genital herpes and male herpes?  The truth is not a heck of a lot.  When a woman gets herpes, she’ll often times find it on the inside and outside of the labia as well as on or even inside of the butt.  They can look like either red dots, larger blisters, fluid filled blisters and they can appear on their own or in clusters.

So How Do You Treat Female Genital Herpes?

The same way you treat male genital herpes, there are many different treatment methods out there, here are just a few of the methods you can try:

1.    Witch Hazel

This is a great all natural solution to the problem.  Applying witch hazel with a cotton ball to the affected area, especially in the early stages can help the sore to dry up and heal quickly.

2.    Get Your Vitamin C

If you take about 500mg of vitamin C 3 times a day, you can help speed up your cold sore recovery.  Much like vitamin C helps you get over a cold, it will help you get over an outbreak as it boosts your immune system’s strength.

3.     Baking Soda

Another way to deal with this condition is by adding some baking soda to water and applying that paste onto the sores.  It will work to reduce the pain and itching experienced.

Now there are more potent ways of dealing with female genital herpes that will get rid of the condition faster as well as keep it from returning.  If you’re looking to step it up a notch, try using Herpeset.  It’s one of the more popular oral and genital herpes solutions, it is absorbed instantly into the bloodstream via a spray under the tongue and thus starts working pretty fast.  You can learn more about it and how it works by clicking on this link.

1.     Stay Out Of The Sun

Ok, lets start with prevention first.  If you want to avoid getting a lip cold sore, it’s important that you not stay out in the sun too much.  So If you do a lot of outdoor activities or sunbathe, this can be the reason for your outbreaks.  Sun somehow triggers cold sores so it’s best to stay out of it if at all possible.

2.     Don’t Touch Your Lips

If you’ve got some blisters, avoid touching them as you can wind up spreading the virus and making it worse.  Make sure you wash your hands if you’ve touched your lip as well.

3.     Baking Soda

Here’s a quick tip to help get rid of the cold sore.  Wet a Q-Tip, dip it into some baking soda and apply that onto the cold sore and leave it there for a couple of hours.  Keep doing this a few times per day and the sore should dry up significantly faster.

Now if you want a more powerful and permanent solution to deal with your lip cold sore, you’ll need to look into some medications.  One medication which is quite popular is Herpeset.  It’s a homeopathic solution that is absorbed into the blood immediately through a spray under the tongue, it clears the cold sore faster than any other treatment due to this and it also prevents the sores from returning.  Click here to learn more about it.
